आदमी वक़्त पर गया होगा वक़्त पहले गुज़र गया होगा वो हमारी तरफ़ न देख के भी कोई एहसान धर गया होगा ख़ुद से मायूस हो के बैठा हूँ आज हर शख़्स मर गया होगा शाम तेरे दयार में आख़िर कोई तो अपने घर गया होगा मरहम-ए-हिज्र था अजब इक्सीर अब तो हर ज़ख़्म भर गया होगा
